Product Description
Cisco Catalyst CW9800H1
The Cisco Catalyst CW9800H1 wireless controller is designed to provide next-generation wireless access over Wi-Fi 6 and 6E networks. High-speed interfaces are used to connect to the core network. Up to 6000 access points can be managed by this platform. Access to the operator’s transport network is provided through 25 Gigabit uplink interfaces. The CW9800H1 allows organizations to build scalable, secure “campus” networks to ensure the highest safety standards. The controller manages subscriber devices, traffic switching, and connection to the transport network via Cisco IOS XE. Wireless access using Wi-Fi 6E technology is the highest quality version of service delivery, as it provides high data rates and low latency. The main advantage of this controller is the 36% performance increase and 40% power reduction compared to previous generations, which greatly reduces network operating cost. Furthermore, the 1U design saves on rack space infrastructure. The controller supports hot patching and high availability features.
