About Asterisk-Basic Course:
Asterisk is a free, open source framework for building communication applications. Asterisk can provide IP-PBX systems, IVR systems or any other type of communication program. Asterisk software includes many features available in commercial and proprietary PBX systems, such as: voice mail, conference calling, interactive voice answering (phone menus) and automatic call distribution. Asterisk can support a variety of VIP protocols, including SIP protocol, Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP), and H.323.
Asterisk is a major component in many commercial products and services and open source projects. In this course, the basic installation and configuration of Asterisk and basic programming will be taught in a practical way.
